National Awards to Volunteers 2009

The National Awards to Volunteers will take place early 2010. We hope that clubs and organisations will nominate from categories applicable to their local area.
The award winners will be selected by a committee chaired by Olympic gold medal winner Ronnie Delany and awards will be presented by the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism at a ceremony in Farmleigh in early 2010.
There are 11 categories of Awards –
- Youth Coach (U18)
- Adult Coach
- Youth Manager (U18)
- Adult Manager
- National Level Administrator
- Local/Community Administrator
- Junior Volunteer (U18)
- Volunteer in Disability Sport
- Official
- Lifetime Award
- Other (for people who don’t fit into the categories listed above and yet make a valuable contribution)
