Longford Tourism Strategy
The County Tourism Strategy sets out the overall Vision for tourism in County Longford from 2023 - 2027. The aim of this Strategy is to grow Longford's Tourism by developing a thriving tourism sector in a planned, co-ordinated and cohesive manner as set out in this Strategy. It includes an ambitious programme of work to be undertaken within the County to build local products and services that appeal to the marketplace. A review of the programme of work outlined and completed under previous strategies undertaken from 2017 to 2012, combined with an analysis of the current strength of the tourism sector within the County helped to prioritise actions going forward.
