Excellent Facilities at Shawbrook

Shawbrook is home to dance studios, a film studio theatre and an outdoor forest stage, with 24-hour access for guests to make full use of this creative space. Guests will have 24-hour access to all of Shawbrook's many facilities.

The centre hosts many international and Irish dance professionals who offer training workshops for guests to explore their creativity through dance. 

Shawbrook is open to professional companies alongside vocational students and youth dance companies. Their Shawbrook Residential Summer School has been running since 1984. Year-round, they have artists-in-residence programmes, workshops, performances and seasonal festivals.

Guests can also take a stroll around their forest walks, with their native Irish trees, and have a look at their vegetable patch. They also have an African-style Boma for outdoor cooking and entertaining.

Staying at Shawbrook

At Shawbrook, you can stay in their on-site accommodation, all set in an 18th-century traditional Irish farmhouse surrounded by a forest of native oak, ash and beech trees. Shawbrook offers a variety of accommodation options, including apartments, a bedsit, sleep pods, a wanderly wagon, and a forest cabin. There is also a summer house with cooking facilities and an eating area that caters to up to 30 people, and a meditation tree house.
