Golfing and Pitch and Putt

County Longford Golf Club

Founded in 1894, County Longford Golf Club has been warmly welcoming visitors for over 130 years. The golf course is one of the finest, mature parkland courses in Ireland, with mature trees and many water features. Located just outside Longford town, you will have a backdrop of beautiful panoramic views of Longford town and the surrounding countryside. In 2019, the Club was awarded the Hidden Gem Award for the Midlands and West by the Annual Golfers Guide to Ireland.

The course is over 6,700 yards, with a par 72. The 18th is the par 5 signature hole. Your approach to the green is over water, with many other memorable holes.

Trolley and buggy hire are available, and the pro shop is fully stocked. Golf lessons are available from the club professional, Pete Duignan

County Longford Golf Club has a fine clubhouse with an excellent bar and restaurant for lunch, light bites and dinners. Here, you can also host your own private functions.
