Glebe House B&B is a beautiful old Georgian rectory built in 1825 and was once the home of Oscar Wilde's Aunt Emily and her husband Rev William Noble. Steeped in history, you will be at home in its elegant surroundings located in the heart of County Longford in Taghshinny village, close to Ballymahon.

There are beautiful lawns to explore and nearby walks along the Royal Canal Greenway and National Famine Way to enjoy. You can even have a picnic arranged to take with you on your day out. The house is close to some of Ireland's best heritage attractions, including the Ardagh National Heritage Centre, and Corlea Trackway in Longford. There are also some great fishing loughs and rivers, and golf courses nearby. Glebe House B&B is also an excellent location from where you can explore Longford's neighbouring counties.
