Mosstown Stables
Mosstown Riding Club is based at Mosstown Stables, Keenagh, Co Longford. We are a friendly and enthusiastic club open to both horse owners and non horse owners. Horses can be provided by Mosstown Stables at a small extra charge for lessons, clinics and events. The range and quality of horses at Mosstown Stables insures a suitable horse for all riders whatever their level and confidence.
Several members are horse breeders and there is a strong ethos of careful production of young horses and an open sharing of knowledge and experience.
The club takes part in local and national events and we both host and take part in competitions with other clubs in the area.
Mosstown Stables provide an indoor arena and a cross country course. Situated in old Mosstown Estate, there are good roads for hacking and grass along the nearby canal provides a scenic route in all seasons.
