Granard Edgeworthstown Enybegs Ballinamuck

10:00am – 12.00am   

Arrive at Knights & Conquests Heritage Centre in Granard. Tea / Coffee on arrival and take tour of the exhibit with a guide. EZxploring trail available to explore the town of Granard in a fun way.

12.00pm - 12.20pm   

Transfer to Edgeworthstown (12.5km) 

12.20pm - 1.30pm

Lunch at Bia Deas Cafe in Edgeworthstown

1.30pm - 3.30pm

Arrive at Maria Edgeworth Centre for a guided tour. A souvenir audio player is available in a number of different languages. You then have the option of touring the town with the literary trail or the EZxploring trail.

3.30pm - 4.45pm   

Transfer to Enybegs (16km) and visit Titanic Memorial in the village & take a walk up Longford's highest point - Corn Hill

4.45pm - 5.05pm  

Transfer to Longford Town (14km) and arrive at PV's Bar, Kitchen & Guesthouse Longford to check in and relax with a tea/coffee

6.30pm - 10pm

Dinner at Indian Sizzlers in Longford Town and relax with some post dinner drinks at Tally Ho bar

Day 2

10:30am – 11.15am     

Breakfast in Coffee House 45

11:20am – 11.40am     

Check out and transfer to Ballinamuck (24km)

Visit the peaceful Edenmore Bog Walk for a leisurely walk taking in the lovely sights on this trail

12.30pm – 12.45pm       

Visit to the 1798 Visitors Centre in Ballinamuck Village

12:45pm – 1.05pm       

Transfer to Longford Town (19km)

1.05pm-2.15pm

Lunch at Courtyard Cafe

Free time in town for shopping

2.45pm - 3.15pm

Guided tour of the historic St Mel's Cathedral or take in the Longford Town Walking Trail with audio tour or the EZxploring trail of Longford Town.
